Plot

The story revolves a group of renegade NAVY SEALs who are led by their leader Matt Barnes.

The film follows about the NAVY SEALs trying to recover a lost treasure from the bottom of the lake somewhere in war-torn Sarajevo, Bosnia, while making sure they evade Serbian Forces.

Analysis

The movie revolves around a group of NAVY SEALs who during the Bosnian War, disguised themselves as journalists, capture and extract Bosnian Serb general Milic due to which various atrocities had happened.

A member of the team Stanton falls for Local waitress Lara and goes to her place where some thugs led by Lara’s brother enter and demand something from her but luckily Team leader Matt arrives and fights them off, which they later find out about the buried Nazi treasure from Lara that Lara knew about.

The team decides to extract that treasure with the help of their connections within the base, as they gather required equipment and start their mission. We see how the team proceeds with the operation to extract the gold which is successful and the gold is later sold and distributed among the team with majority share given to Lara as we see the team going to the bar in the final scene.

The film contains a lot of Action.
The Realism in the film is amazing.

The film follows slow story progression.
Some scenes in the film are Stale.

Verdict

The film “Renegades” is an alright movie with lazy acting and dull scenes, some action sequences make up for the lack of element in the movie but for the most part it is just a slow moving film.

Overall Renegades is a movie that has its funny moments and you can definitely watch it if you are looking for a slow and simplistic action war movie.
