Taken 3 is the third and final movie of the Taken trilogy. The movie directed by Oliver Megaton, the same director as the sequel, hopes to pull the franchise out of its funk. Liam Neeson returns to play the role of the ex-CIA agent ready to do everything it takes to keep his loved one safe. The movie takes a different role from its predecessor. Instead of kidnap, Bryan has to solve his wife’s murder and avoid capture by the authorities who believe that he is the killer. The trailer has its fill of action, drama, and suspense.
The film sees the return of most of the original cast and this lends the story authenticity as the acting is phenomenal. Though the idea was intriguing, the movie's criticism was for its lack of direction, horrible camera work, and weak action sequences. Despite the negative reviews, the film won the 42nd People’s Choice awards for Favorite Thriller Movie and also has a nomination for Best Actress from Teen Choice Awards.
