The film lacks a convincing script and there are many loopholes, but yet, the thriller really works as a real spicy thriller. A scene where Jack throws his daughter from a high-rise building and then the daughter lands up in mother’s arm is beautifully captured in all the angles of camera. Cinematographer Leo Hinstin does excellent job in terrific assassination scenes. It is really fun watching those scenes.
Directed by John Erick Dowdle, the movie is indeed filled with jittery shots from hand-held camera, and for Mr Owen Wilson, this is probably thriller movie a detour from usual comedy roles he played earlier. Mr Brosnan continues to show his James Bond days in the film. His talent has not been used in the film, but he is watchable in many scenes. No Escape is the first dramatic action film for this 46-year old actor, who had turned down many roles earlier.
