This is a rom-com movie with a lot of twists and turns; and centers on the theme of separation in marriages and starting of a family again from scratch. This movie can be termed as an adult movie with a lot of grown-up stories, and a lot of scenes which can and will be termed as adults only in the Indian scenery. The movie is very educating and important for the current generation as it shows how frequent breakups and separation are these days, and how to cope up with them and get over them with a comedic twist to it.

This Hollywood movie has everything in it which one will expect from this kind of genre and cast and does not disappoint its viewers even once. In the movie, the star cast Reese Witherspoon is a forty-year-old mother of two children who got recently separated from her husband and soon meets up with three young men around 20 something aspiring filmmakers and let them into her guesthouse.

From here the story begins to unfold about the complications of grown-ups, and the director has done an awesome job showing it with the help of romance and comedy. Out of the three people, two of them fall for her personality, and everyone falls for her whole family with her children. Though the main twist comes when her husband comes back who happens to be a music executive and apparently has understood his mistake and want his family back with him.

The movie is too good in its genre, but it is highly recommended to not watch this movie with children as it has a lot of grown-up content. This movie marks the directing debut of romcom queen Hallie Meyers-Shyer. Star Performance The star performer of the movie Reese Witherspoon has done a wonderful job in portraying a forty-something old lady and is very convincing in her roleplay. Other notable and very loved casts are Michael Sheen, Pico Alexander, Nat Wolff, and Lake Bell. All their actings have been off the charts and worth a watch.

What’s there?

1. The star ensemble dazzles throughout the movie and saves the movie from potential failure. Though, it was a huge success at the box office.

2. The movie presents stunning visuals and fun with in-depth meaning all throughout its runtime.

3. The lively background score, songs, and choreography improve the rating of the context of the story.

What’s not there?

1. The movie does not provide any great insights into the actor’s lives.

2. The narration often falters as the script progresses.

The movie is a must watch for the adult age group of today’s generations as it provides a much-needed insight into the all too common breakups nowadays.
