Star Performance
Patton Oswalt, as Max, did an incredible performance in the film. He well portrayed the character as an energetic dog, Max. In the previous sequel, Max was performed by Louis C.K. This time, Patton did not disappoint fans of those series in the film. Henry Lynch, as Liam, was brilliant in his character. He was an excellent choice for the voice acting of a toddler. He was perfect in the role of an innocent child. His innocence was factual and natural. Harrison Ford, as Rooster, was outstanding in the film. He did a fantastic performance in the movie. He shows the nature of a great friend to Max. He helped Max to overcome his overprotective nature towards Liam. One would hate Nick Kroll as Sergei after watching this movie. That much impact he made in the whole film. Her appearance as the cruel circus owner was scary, and horrifying. Those who love animals will hate his character. Tara Strong and Jessica DiCicco did a remarkable performance in the movie. Both of them voice for more than one character in the film. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.
Analysis

The animation was good, but it lacked freshness. The story has a great theme and message for both children and adults. The comic nature of the film is maintained from the start till the end. Supernatural elements like the witch are shown in the movie. As a fan of the previous sequel, you will find it entertaining. The background music and songs play a significant role in the film. The dialogues were excellent.
