London Has Fallen can be somewhat termed as the sequel of Olympus Has Fallen of 2013. Well, let’s see what the movie has in store for us.

The British Prime Minister dies suddenly, and prominent leaders all over the world come to the funeral. The security team has to be put into action in a short span of time. And the President of USA is also one among these leaders. And yes, I know what you are thinking now….the plot proceeds with a Middle-Eastern evil fellow Mike Banning, who is hell bent on seeing this day.

The terrorists disguise themselves as cops and ambulance drivers, and it will be a Herculean task to distinguish between the good and the bad. The U.S. President Aaron Eckhart and his sincere bodyguard Gerald Butler go on a brave struggle against this vindictive act.

So I have given you sufficient information. Well, watch the movie and experience the essence of it.

Star Performances

London Has Fallen has retained some of the original artists of Olympus Has Fallen. Gerald Butler excels in his role that is brimming with patriotism. Aaron Eckhart is quite ok as the U.S. president.

What’s there?

  • The movie starts off with a promising note.
  • The terrible explosions and the brutal fights are typical of an action-oriented Hollywood movie.
  • The sequences involving the attack of the world’s top names are treated well.

What’s not there?

  • It would be good if the movie has been interspersed with good humor.
  • The CGI is not relatively up to the mark.
  • Some of the dialogues are quite amateurish.
  • The good rapport between the U.S president and his security could have been explored more.
  • It seems that the showcase of American valor is overdone.

London Has Fallen could have been way better if not for its half-baked execution. But again, you can watch it once for Gerard Butler.
