Plot
Donnie and Jovanna pose as jewel experts to gain access to the World Diamond Centre and orchestrate the heist. They plan to break the vault, which is under surveillance by 137 cameras. Nick is on a search hunt for Donnie for his previous encounter with him. Will Nick be successful? The rest of the story deals with the heist and Donnie and Nick’s revenge.
Star Performance
Gerard excels in the role of a Nick, ready for revenge. O'Shea Jackson Jr excels in his role as Donnie. His chemistry with Gerard is so natural and appreciable. Evin has done a good job in the role of Jovanna, and supports the lead well.
Analysis
Unlike the first film, the sequel has the opposite heads teamed up for a heist. Though the screenplay is racy, the runtime makes us feel a bit stretched. The film has all the qualifications of the heist film with a good number of action sequences and car chases. All those action scenes are choreographed well. The visuals are pretty decent, and the film has a good BGM, especially in the action sequences.
