Plot: Mary Katherine does not hold a good accord with her father. She is tired of her father relating tales of microscopic creatures residing in the woods. Now, there is a twist in the movie as Mary Katherine shrinks in size. She realizes that her father was not fibbing all along. Mary Katherine joins a struggle with Leafmen and endeavors to save their queen from the evil foes headed by kingpin Mandrake.
The movie happens to be a treat for audiences of all the ages. Gigantic creatures are shown in a close-up shot. The movie has features that are very rarely there in present day cinema. The movie Epic is the best animation of the present times. The movie is filled with color and has life in it. There is a message about greenery in the movie. But, it does not make the movie boring to watch. The animation movie comes out with an iPhone, which is yet to be experimented with present day technology. The use of the iPhone comes just in time to create a wonderful fairy tale. The computer generated animation is worth watching, and the clarity about it. The voiceovers in the movie are commendable. The movie is to be commended for its animation, and there are abundant flying creatures in the movie. The 3D effect has been implemented properly. The supporting characters in the movie make the movie a bit sluggish.
Verdict: Taking everything into account, the movie Epic has sufficient visual excitement for fans.
