Plot
Started like an adult story, but sounds to be a children movie. The story concentrates on Tripp, a high school student, who lives in North Dakota. His hometown has plenty of trees and tall mountains. Tripp finds a creature at his workplace and gets shocked. It has sharp teeth and it seems to have escaped from danger. However, Tripp develops a good relationship with the creature. He finds out that he can use the monster to power up his truck. Tripp assures the creature that he helps him to find its way to home. Did he help the monster to find its home or use it selfishly? Watch the film in theaters to find out the rest.
Star Performances
No particular mentions and the performances by the actors are quite good.
Analysis
Chris Wedge has chosen an excellent script for the kids. As the film is especially for the kids, we should not expect any logic. Yes, it has a lot of loopholes, but it is excusable.
