and his lawyer have filed case against Santhanam. A case has been filed against 'Santhanam' under three sections including a murder threat. There was lingering doubt as to whether Santhanam would be arrested. Following the issue Santhanam filed an anticipatory bail plea in the Chennai High Court. Santhanam said that it was not true that he had done it. Also, he said that contractor Shanmuga Sundaram received amount from him for constructing a house and he did not do so.
He said that he was called for discussion during which the contractor attacked him. In my complaint, a case has been filed against the contractor. So as to escape from that he has filed case against me, said Santhanam. I abide by the law and so anticipatory bail should be given to me, said Santhanam. It is anticipated that the hearing into the case filed by Santhanam would happen soon. Then, it would be known whether Santhanam would get anticipatory bail. If the anticipatory bail is turned down by the High Court, there is chance of Santhanam getting arrested.
