Venkatesh’s Thriller Debut!

“A Venkatesh” is popular for his commercial films like “Badri” and “Ai.” Now, the director is trying his hands at a new genre. Yes, he will be directing a thriller flick for the first time in his career. “Nethra” is the title of the film and it has Vinay Rai, “Thaman” and “Subiksha” in the lead roles. When asked about his new venture, the director says, "Almost all my films have had either hero’s name or a catchy phrase as the title. That is not the case in my new attempt. Heroine's name has been fixed as the title. The plot revolves around the heroine, who is a traditional girl. She moves to Canada from Karaikudi after getting married." Subiksha plays in “Kadugu” under the direction of Vijay Milton. Venkatesh plays a supportive role in Kadugu. He decided to pick Subiksha for his next, after getting impressed by her acting skills. The film has Robo Shankar and Naan Kadavul Rajendran in significant roles.
