TR Balu Gets Promoted As DMK's General Secretary!

TR Balu, the former Central Minister, belongs to the DMK party. After the death of the party leader M “Karunanidhi,” his son “M K Stalin,” had been unanimously elected as the party chief. Durai Murugan who had been the General Secretary of the party had been appointed as the Treasurer of the party. Following this, the party announced that the Working President post that had been given to Stalin had been removed from the party and now Stalin announced that as Durai Murugan has become the Treasurer, his post, General Secretary has been vacant and so that post is currently allotted to the senior leader TR Balu. Stalin announced that as per the DMK party’s rule number 17, TR Balu had been chosen as DMK’s General Secretary.
