Recently, he announced that if the government wants treatment centers for coronavirus, they could use his DMDK party office in Chennai and his Andal Azhagar Engineering College in Kanchipuram. He had also ordered his party men to help the needy in this crisis time. He told them to supply enough food materials, dress, medicines, mask to the people who are in need as well as the health workers.
