Tamil Rockers Admins Arrested!

Tamil Rockers… if you hadn’t heard the name, then you should have been out of this planet for decades. Tamil Rockers is the notorious piracy website, which had been providing the pirated versions of almost all the major south Indian movies. The admins of this site had been searched by the cyber crime police for a long. Vishal Reddy, the Producer Council President, was keen on arresting them. At last, Kerala police arrested them. Karthi, who is a Villupuram boy, is said to be the main admin. He was arrested in Kerala. Along with him Suresh and Prabhu, his friends were also arrested. They were arrested for uploading the film, “Pulimurugan.” They had 19 domains. They had earned more than a crore, last year. They were traced and caught through the mail id, which they used to promote their site through an ad agency. Similarly, Jagan and Johnson from Tirunelveli, who were running the site DVD Rockers, were arrested for uploading “Ramleela,” a Malayalam film. These two had earned nearly Rs. 75 lakhs last year. Cases have been filed against these five people under Copy Right an IT Act. They are now in judicial custody. Finally, Kerala police caught them red-handedly.
