Tamil Film Chamber Launched!

Tamil Film Chamber of Commerce is launched today. The chamber will have Tamil Film producers, film distributors and theater owners. Popular producer, distributor cum theater owner, Abirami Ramanathan has been elected as the President of the chamber, unanimously. Recently, Abirami Ramanathan stated that the theater owners and the distributors would not participate in the shutdown organized by the Film Producers’ Council. If they participate in the indefinite shutdown, it will leave them with a loss, said the theater owner. Ramanathan also stated that after their meeting with TN Chief Minister “Edappadi K Palaniswami,” he promised to sort out the issue of piracy and the increase in ticket fares. So, there is no need for a shutdown now, confirmed Ramanathan from his side.
