Superstar “Rajinikanth” and Megastar “Mammootty” shared the screen space in “Thalabathi,” 25 years back. The film directed by the maverick director Mani Ratnam was a super hit in Tamilnadu and Kerala. The director, who was last seen with his work Kaatru Veliyidai with Karthik Sivakumar and Aditi Rao Hydari is gearing for his next film. Many rumors roll about Mani’s next. Earlier, it was said that Mani would be directing Thalabathi 2 with “Vijay” and Chiyaan Vikram. Now, the latest story is that he has a good script for Superstar and Megastar. It is also heard that Mani Ratnam is in talks with both the stars and this film would be an action thriller and the film would release next year. However, nothing is official.
