”. It was said that “Thoongavanam” has fixed the satellite right for Rs. 20 crores. As Vijay TV felt that it is not worthy to buy the film at that price, it withdrew from the competition. The distribution rights are acquired by the Escape Artists Motion Pictures. The movie directed by Kamal’s assistant Rajesh is said to visit the theatres as a special gift on the eve of Diwali.
