Sarkar Excels Mersal!

“Sarkar” is the upcoming film scripted and directed by “A R Murugadoss.” The film produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures has the star cast of “Vijay,” Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi, Pala Karuppaiah and Yogi Babu in the main roles. The music composition is by “A R Rahman,” Cinematography is by Girish Gangadharan and the editing is by Sreekar Prasad. The film is all set to hit the theaters on 6th November 2018 as a Diwali treat. The 62nd film of Vijay has been highly expected not only in Tamilnadu but in Kerala too. Vijay’s 61st film, “Mersal” had gone for Rs. 6.6 crores in Kerala and Sarkar distribution right has gone for Rs. 10 crores. This proves that Vijay has a huge number of audiences in Kerala. Besides this, the Andhra and Telangana distribution rights had gone for Rs. 6.5 crores.
