“R Sarathkumar,” the actor cum politician has opened about the Sabarimalai issue and the METOO Movement. He said that the devotees should follow the rules and regulations that are being followed for centuries. He means that women of all the age groups should not claim to go to the temple, as it is not safer for them, as per Sabaraimala rules. When speaking about MeToo movement, Sarath stated that he doesn’t understand why the women are exposing their bad experiences after so many years. If they had opened about it as and when it happened, it would have been easier to get the culprits out, feels Sarath. Sarath also said that his principle is to safeguard the women and he is against the harassment.
