Saalai Helmer Charles Shares His Shooting Experience In Kashmir!

“Saalai” is the upcoming film directed by “Charles,” who directed Azhagu Kutti Chellam. It is produced by Mukilan Cinemas and Thangathulasi Productions. The film is about the experience of a person, who travels to Kashmir from Chennai. Vishwa, who played the lead in Eppadi Manadhirkul Vandhai is the male lead and Krisha, who did a pivotal role in Azhagu Kutti Chellam plays the female lead. The film has Aadukalam Naren, Shruti, Preethi Varma, Ajith Manian and Alan John in pivotal roles. Charles says that they have shot the film in Kashmir amidst the snowfall. They have completed the film in 45 days in the snow. Charles says that they have shot the film in a thrilling way like its story. Saalai is a psychological thriller. The script needed the snow background and hence they chose Kashmir. The Snow Mountains played a spectacular role in the film, says Charles. He also says that many people don’t prefer to shoot in Kashmir, due to its present situation but we have wrapped up the film successfully. The team has got the permission from the government to shoot the film. However, they felt like walking on a sharp knife, as anything could happen in Kashmir at any time. He thanks the people of Kashmir, who had helped them to shoot without any obstacles. The Kashmiris, who helped them learned a few Tamil words from the crew, says Charles.
