Due to the report on massive cash inflow in RK Nagar, the Election Commission of India announced that the by-poll in the constituency is cancelled. The election commission has uploaded an online report of 29-page for canceling the election. The commission has announced that the election will be conducted when there is integrity. Till then the constituency will have no representative. It is also stated that there are 35 cases filed regarding the illegal distribution of money and gifts to the voters of RK Nagar.
