Manidhaneya Jananayaka Katchi General Secretary M Thamimun Ansari announced that they would not join the ADMK alliance that would have BJP. He said that they always want to have social justice and societal equality. Ansari also stated that their politics is based on the livelihood of the state, rights of Tamils and to uplift the backward society. Ansari also stated that the Manidhaneya Jananayaka Katchi would announce its political stance on 28th February 2019 at the General Body Meeting.
