The NEET results will be announced today, nationwide. Human Resources Development Cabinet Secretary Anil Swaroop announced it on Twitter. Nearly 13 lakh students wrote the exam, throughout India. Earlier, it was announced that the NEET results would be released on 5th June 2018. The students wrote the NEET exams on 6th May and in Tamilnadu, nearly 1.07 lakh students wrote it. The results will be announced on the website: http://www.cbseneet.nic.in.
Earlier last month, a lot of controversies and confusions prevailed before the NEET exams. Complaints were raised stating that a lot of students were purposely given centers in other states and they had to travel to the next states to write the NEET exams. A parent from Tamilnadu died in Kerala, while he was accompanying his son to write the NEET exams. This added the fuel to the fire.
