Manal Kayiru 2 To Hit The Screens On 23rd December!

Manal Kayiru released 34 years ago with “S Ve Shekher,” Shanthi Krishna, “Manorama,” “Visu,” Kamala Kamesh, Kuriyakos Ranga and “Kishmu” in pivotal roles. Now, the sequel to the film has been shot and is gearing up for the release on 23rd December. In the sequel, S Ve Shekher, Visu and Kuriyakos Ranga are reprising the same roles as in the old film. Shamna Kasim alias Poorna plays the daughter to Shekher and Ashwin Shekhar plays her husband. Ashwin is the real-life son of S Ve Shekher. Madhan Kumar directs the film. Shekher planned the film with director “K. Balachander” in 2008. But it didn’t materialize. It is also informed that the film will have a mini intro to the old film, Manal Kayiru, as many of the young generation viewers are not aware of the film.
