The main theme in the film is the role of money in determining the relationships. The film also clearly says that if we live without expectations and earn for our living, our life will be better. Lakshmy, the director cum leading lady, could make it out, what she has in her mind. Salamma is the role played by Lakshmy, who is living with two sons and a daughter. She is the prime provider for her family. Lakshmy’s presentation of the characters impresses the critics and the audiences and her performance has no errors.
