, had already been targeted for hosting the TV shows that dealt with the family issues. Her husband, Dr. Ramakrishnan and her daughters had always supported her. Now, she had been once again targeted. Ramakrishnan had come out in public to help her. When a newly started Twitter account had a controversial tweet about Lakshmy, her husband replied, “Women in media r soft targets, people from inside the family like this one, also target them, especially women. Women should learn to appreciate successful women. Even if I talk about my parents, the blame goes to my wife. What attitude is this?”
He also posted, “Every time she raises her voice I feel like stopping her but I don’t. I think twice and I realise her honesty & genuine concern. We, as a family, have lost precious time in all these battles, but I understand the cause is bigger. Concerned authorities should act on this.” Not all people in the media, get their family support, but Lakshmy has got a great family to strengthen her!
