There have been a number of directors in the Tamil cine field. I V Sasi the director, was one such talented directors. He passed away yesterday. 'I. V. Sasi' had directed a number of Tamil movies and Malayalam cinema. I V Sasi passed away following health setback.

has paid his homage to the director. I V Sasi was a popular director in 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. He turned popular through direction of South Indian movies. I VSasi aged 69, was residing in Chennai Saligramam. Following health setback, he passed away in the morning yesterday.
Reportedly, he died on way to the hospital. I V Sasi had directed more than 150 movies in Malayalam, Tamil. He has directed a movie which paired up Rajini and Kamal. He directed the movie Allauddinum Arputha Vilakkum, Kaali and Guru. He had directed many movies starring popular actors. Lastly, in Malayalam he directed the movie Vellathooval in Malayalam. The movie hit the screens in 2009. Many actors involving Kamal Haasan have paid homage to I V Sasi. In a development, Kamal Haasan condoled the death of I V Sasi.
