'I. V. Sasi', noted director in the South Indian cinema who has done more than 150 movies has passed away. He died following health setback. It is to be noted that I V Sasi was a popular Malayalam director. He climbed the peak of success through direction of movies in decades of 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. He climbed up the ladder of success through direction of South Indian movies. I V Sasi was aged 69. He was residing in Saligramam, Chennai. Following health setback he passed away this morning at 10:30 am. Reportedly, on the way to the hospital, he passed away. It is to be noted that I V Sasi had directed more than 150 movies in Malayalam and Tamil. He directed movies with popular actors in movies as Allauddinum Arputha Vilakkum, Kaali, Guru, Pagalil Oru Iravu.
He directed a number of movies starring noted Tamil actors. I V Sasi was born in Calicut Kerala in the year of 1948. He debuted as director in the year of 1975. His first directorial venture happened to be Urchavam in Malayalam. Very since the year of 1979, he started directing Tamil movies. The first movie that he directed was Allauddinum Arputha Vilakkum. Lastly, in the year of 2009, he directed the movie Vellathooval in Malayalam. I V Sasi is survived by his son Ani and daughter Anu. Many noted cine icons including actor
