Kaatru Veliyidai Gets 2 Million Views!

Mani Ratnam’s films always have high expectation. This time it went on high, as the film has Karthik Sivakumar and Aditi Rao Hydari. Aditi makes her Kollywood debut through this film. The film is simultaneously made in Telugu as "Cheliyaa."Already the glimpse videos and the teasers grabbed the attention of the viewers. The trailer that released yesterday crossed 2 million views and it is a record for a Karthi movie. “A R Rahman” composes the music and Ravi Varman cranks the camera. Mani Ratnam produces the film under his banner Madras Talkies and Sri Thenandal Films distribute the film. Besides Karthi and Aditi, the film has “K P A C Lalitha,” Shraddha Srinath, RJ Balaji, Rukmini Vijayakumar and Delhi Ganesh. Karthi plays a pilot and Aditi plays a doctor. Earlier, Sai Pallavi was booked doing the lead role. Later, Mani Ratnam replaced her saying that she is not matured for the role.
