Karthi Faces Backlash For Comments Over Fellow Actor’s Death

Karthik Sivakumar is in trouble again, but this time over a social media post.

Recently, Tamil comedian Robo Shankar passed away due to multiple organ failure. Like most of the artists, Karthi also paid a tribute to the departed artist. However, his comments invited severe criticism due to alleged insensitivity towards Robo Shankar.

Karthi wrote that sometimes destructive choices could wreak havoc on one’s health. However, it was misinterpreted as a barb on Robo Shankar’s personality. While some fans accused Karthi Sivakumar of being insensitive, others advised the star to choose his words carefully.

Karthi Sivakumar is currently working on multiple projects. Apart from his much awaited return to LCU with Kaithi 2, the actor is also returning to Tollywood after nearly a decade with the fourth instalment of the HIT franchise, for which he made a cameo appearance in HIT : The Third Case, which starred Nani in the lead role.
