Now, Raja posted on his Facebook that he didn’t post about Periyar, but the admin of his page. Weird isn’t it! Raja says that he has no intention to hurt anyone. He also says that they should follow the path of Muthuramalinga Thevar, who followed spiritual politics. Here is Raja’s FB post: “நேற்றைய தினம் திரிபுராவில் லெனின் சிலை அகற்றப்பட்டதை ஒப்பிட்டு தமிழகத்தில் ஈவெரா அர்களின் சிலைகளும் அகற்றப்படும் என்ற பதிவு முகநூல் Admin என் அனுமதி இன்றி பதித்துள்ளார். எனவே தான் அதை நான் பதிவு நீக்கம் செய்திருந்தேன்.

            கருத்துக்களை கருத்துக்களால் எதிர் கொள்ள வேண்டுமே அன்றி வன்முறையால் அல்ல. எனக்கு யார் மனதையும் புண்படுத்தும் நோக்கமில்லை. எனவே இப்பதிவினால் யார் மனதும் புண்பட்டிருக்குமானால் அதற்கு என் இதய பூர்வமான வருத்தத்தை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.

             மேலும் ஈ.வெ.ரா அவர்கள் சிலைகளை சேதப் படுத்துவது போன்ற செயல்கள் நமக்கு ஏற்புடையதல்ல.

              ஆகவே ஆக்கபூர்வமாக,  அமைதியான முறையில் நாம் இந்து உணர்வாளர்களை இனைத்து  தமிழகத்தில் தேசியம், தெய்வீகம் காக்கும் பணியில் பெரியவர் முத்துராமலிங்கத் தேவர் காட்டிய வழியில் நம்மை ஈடுபடுத்திக் கொள்ள வேண்டிய நேரமிது.”
