They have finalized the number of seats to their alliance parties. DMK will be contesting in 20 seats among the 40 seats available for the parliamentary polls. Congress gets ten seats and MDMK gets a seat. Marxist Communist gets two seats and the left front and Viduthalai Siruthai Katchi gets two seats each. Kongu Naadu, IJK and Indian Union Muslim League get one seat each.
