Director Balu Anand Is No More!

Director cum actor Balu Anand passed away at his residence due to a massive cardiac arrest. Balu Anand had featured in more than hundred movies. He assisted “R Sundarrajan” in a lot of movies and has worked hard in making hit films like “Nane Raja Nane Mandhiri” by “Vijayakanth” and “Anna Nagar Mudhal Theru” featured by “Sathyaraj” and “Radha.” The 62-years-old filmmaker was staying with his family in Coimbatore. Following a severe chest pain, he was rushed to the hospital, yesterday night. Sadly, he died on the way to the hospital. He is survived by his wife and two children, a son and a daughter. Funeral will be held today evening, said the sources. His sudden death shocked the entire Kollywood. Kollywood film fraternities share their condolence messages through the social media.
