“Mersal,” the film directed by Atlee Kumar featuring “Vijay,” Nithya Menen, Samantha Akkineni and Kajal Aggarwal released for Diwali 2017. The film collected Rs. 250+ crores worldwide and it is a great record for a Tamil film. Now, a specific record of the movie had been broken. It is none other than “Dhanush” who broke the record. Yes, Dhanush played in the Hollywood film, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir. The film released in France, last week. It is said that the film overtook all the previous records set by Superstar “Rajinikanth” movie “Enthiran” and Mersal in just four days. Although it is a Hollywood film, Dhanush being a Tamil actor has overtaken Rajini and Vijay. The film will be released soon in India in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
