Captain “Vijayakanth” and his wife Premalatha Vijayakanth are in the US for his treatment. After hearing the death news of “Karunanidhi,” Vijayakanth couldn’t control his emotions. In their video message, Premalatha stated that they had been blessed to move with Karunanidhi. She had seen Karunanidhi as her father, stated Premalatha. While she said this, captain Vijayakanth shed tears. Premalatha said that she feels worried as they couldn’t take part in the funeral of Kalaignar. Premalatha shared her condolences to the DMK people, Karunanidhi family and the Tamilnadu people and also prayed for Karunanidhi’s soul to rest in peace.
