“R K Selvamani,” the popular director requested Vishal Reddy, the President of the Tamil Film Producers Council to treat the Tamil Rockers as his friend. It is through the Tamil Rockers site, 70% of the people are watching the films and just 30% are visiting the theaters, says Selvamani. He also requested Vishal to take initiatives to take the cinema directly to the people at their home. Instead of fighting against the piracy, it is better to provide the facility people needed, feels Selvamani at the Irumbu Thirai audio launch event. Vishal Reddy has been working in Irumbu Thirai directed by Mithran. The film features Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Arjun Sarja in important roles. Irumbu Thirai marks the 125th film of Yuvan Shankar Raja, who came to the cinema industry in the late 90s. Besides Irumbu Thirai, Vishal has “Sandakozhi 2” directed by “N Lingusamy” for the release. Keerthy Suresh plays the lead role.
