Area Wise Voter List Is Being Sorted Out!

The Local Body Elections should have been conducted in October 2016. Still, now, the TN government didn’t take essential steps to carry out a civic poll. Now, the Madras High Court ordered that the polls should be conducted in May. As per the order, the regional development offices are gearing up with the voter lists. The sorting out job is undertaken by the PDOs and they will work on the list, ward wise. Meanwhile, the by-poll in RK Nagar will also be announced soon, says a report. After the death of Madam “Jayalalithaa,” her constituency is left with no MLA and hence the poll will be held soon. “J Deepa,” the niece of Jayalalithaa announced that she would contest on the by-poll in RK Nagar.
