A few years back, she returned from the US and had played in a few films in some special songs. Recently, Kasthuri has been in the headlines for some controversial comments over cinema. But, she denied the rumors and praised the film industry. Kasthuri said there are some people in the film industry like Ajith Kumar, who don’t drink and appear in the advertisements. In a TV show, Kasthuri brought her daughter with her. She looked as simple as a middle-class girl. Kasthuri said that she had never bought unnecessary things for her daughter; either it is a dress or accessories. Our eyes still can’t believe that the girl is a daughter of an actress!
