Abishan Jeevinth Makes His Acting Debut In Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Next

Abishan Jeevinth is back in action, but with a twist.

The filmmaker will be seen next in Soundarya Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie. However, the director will be making his acting debut with this movie, alongside Anaswara Rajan, who is playing the female lead. Soundarya had last directed Velaiilla Pattadhari 2, which starred Dhanush and Kajol in the lead roles, and released in 2017.

Abishan Jeevinth had surprised the entire country with his directorial debut Tourist Family, which released a few days before Thudarum, Retro, Raid 2, and HIT: The Third Case. Despite having no big league stars and made on a miniscule budget, the movie shocked both the critics and the audience as it turned out to be one of the most profitable movies of 2025 throughout India, with Mahavtar Narsimha being a close second.
