Theater owners in Kerala had been on a strike and many Mollywood films that were planned for Christmas and 30th December 2016 release didn’t see the screens. However, other language movies had been running in the theaters including “
Dangal
.” It was also said that theaters would be compulsorily shut on 10th January 2017 and the reopening date was not announced. So, the makers of many non-Malayalam films including the Tamil film, “
Bairavaa
,” which is set for the release on 12th January 2017 worldwide feared that they could not grab the Kerala collections. But, now it is informed that the strike has come to an end. Malayalam Film Producers Council and Distributors Association had some indifference in their opinions, which led to the strike. As the strike is withdrawn,
