Salim Kumar Didn’t Resign From AMMA!

Innocent Vincent is the president of Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA). In a recent interview, the actor was questioned about the resignation of Salim Kumar. Innocent said that Salim Kumar is still a member of AMMA. But, he was not present at the recent meeting of the Association. When asked about this, Innocent said, “Salim called me in the morning and said that he couldn't make it to the meeting because he has recently undergone a surgery and doctors have advised him not to move out for a few days as there is a risk of infection." popular actors like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Suresh Gopi, “K P A C Lalitha” and “Jagadish” didn’t attend the event conducted by AMMA. Salim Kumar threatened to resign from AMMA, as he felt that the actors have been breaking the rules led by AMMA by supporting politicians and involving in politics. In the recently held elections, actors Ganesh Kumar and Jagadish contested in the same constituency. Ganesh Kumar won and became an MLA. “Mohanlal” campaigned for Ganesh Kumar in the election.
