” thanked the state government for helping the cinema industry to come out of the trouble. 45th Kerala State Award distribution was held in a grand manner on 26th December 2015. Mohanlal expressed his gratitude on the occasion. At the function, the veteran director I. V. Sasi” was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Kerala CM Oommen Chandy presented Sasi with the J. C. Daniel Award. GK Pillai, the elderly actor, was also honored at the function. Best movies and the actors and the actresses were rewarded.
