Anushka Shetty To Make Malayalam Debut

Now it turns out that Anushka has signed up for her first Malayalam film. She has joined the sets of Kathanar – The Wild Sorcerer. The film will be directed by Rojin Thomas Rojin Thomas is an Indian director who predominant >> Read More... and is said to be a fantasy film based on Kadamattathu  Kathanar, a Keralite priest who was believed to possess supernatural powers. Jayasurya will be a part of this project as well.

This film has been shot using virtual production technology, the first of its kind in Indian cinema. The film will be made in several parts, with the first installment released in 2024.

Following her superb success post ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, Anushka Shetty has not been in a hurry.
