. The movie happens to be a biopic on late football player VP Sathyan. Jayasurya will do the lead role in the movie. The movie has already aroused the curiosity in the football fans in the state. The movie is not just about the sport but would represent the people and close relationships that influenced the former Indian captain. Sathyan’s wife Anitha Sathyan played a vital role in the football player’s life.
Actress Anu Sithara does the role of Sathyan’s wife Anitha in the movie. Director Prajesh spoke of selecting the actress of Fukri fame. He said that Anu resembles Anitha during her younger years. Also, both are from Kerala. Also, the narration is from her perspective. There is a lot of importance to the heroine in the movie. That is the reason why the selection of the actress turned out to be a time-consuming process, said the director.
