Will Nanjundi Kalyana Be Remade?

Nanjundi Kalyana was the super hit film that had a successful theatrical run of more than a year. The film featured “Malashri” and Raghavendra Rajkumar. Now, we heard that a film had been titled Nanjundi Kalyana and it has Madamakki fame “Thanush” in the lead. When we inquired about this, the team said that it is a fresh script and has no connection with the old hit film. Rajendra Karanth will direct the film. The story is about a mother, who searches a good bride for her son. The director says that before registering the title, they met Raghavendra Rajkumar and narrated the script. As the script required the title, Raghanna permitted them to have his title, says the director. Besides Thanush, Seetha Kote and Arun Sagar will play crucial roles. Sathish Aryan composes the music and Sriram Talkies bankroll the project. At present, the makers are finalising the actors and technicians. The film will roll on the floors from November.
