In the field of Kannada cinema, it is not usual to see combination of directors. But now a director duo have emerged in Kannada with debutant directors as Shiva Rudrappa and Jagadish. They are friends for more than a decade. A shared interest in the field of cinema and arts inspired them to make a movie about a subject that they believe will keep the audiences engaged. Shiva Rudrappa said that his childhood friends assisted in producing the movie April Na Himabindu. He also revealed that his father happened to be a theater artiste.
Thus, he grew up viewing plays and showing ardent interest in arts. Also, he said that he had enacted role in several TV serials. But, he had no plans to make a movie. But when he went for a discussion with Jagadish, he immediately liked the subject. Jagadish happens to be the creative one, and comes out with satisfying stories. Shiva happens to be more of a technical guy. So, they found out that both of them can work together. What immediately came to their aid was that both had similar thoughts. The movie’s theme happens to be such that one should live the life to the fullest.
