Jaggu Dada
is the upcoming film of Darshan Thoogudeep. When the film was sent to the censor board for certification, the officials denied certifying it, saying that the climax scene involves horses and white pigeons. If the filmmakers get the No-objection certificate from the Animal Welfare Board of India, they could certify the film. Then the makers of Jaggu Dada approached the Animal Welfare Board of India and got the certificate needed by the censor board. Only then the board certified the film. Now, the film is ready for the release. Jaggu Dada features Darshan and
Deeksha Seth
in the lead roles.
Rachita Ram
and
Pranitha Subhash
play the cameo roles, as per the request of Darshan. Meanwhile, Upendra’s “
Kalpana 2
” has also stuck in the same controversy. Bats were used in this film and hence the censor board denied certifying. When the makers sent a CD to Animal Welfare Board of India stating that the bats were created using the computer graphics, the board said that the CD didn’t even open. Hence, the film could not be approved.
Upendra Rao
and the team are now making a fresh CD.
