Maharashtra, Kerala, and Karnataka are witnessing heavy rains and floods. The North Karnataka is severely affected. It is heard that 200+ livestock had lost their lives. More than 2 lakh people are evacuated to safer places. 2 lakh+ hectares of crops had gone and the death toll rises to 15. Belagavi is heavily affected and Kodagu too. The CM had been taking aerial surveys to calculate the damage and serve the people soon. It is also stated that heavy rains are expected and hence the people are requested to stay safe.

Sudeep tweeted, “A request to all those who r coming forward to support the NK floods, please contribute only food, clothing n medicines and not any cash. I'm against any association from my end collecting money nor has anyone been given such instructions. So pls avoid contributing cash.
