The actor has been committed doing a Kannada and Tamil bilingual film, “Phirangipura.” The film is directed by Janardhan. Vijay will be sporting three looks for this film. During his latest interview with a popular online portal, Vijay said, "Phirangipura is a small village near Gujarat. The story is set in Bangalore and Gujarat. In 70% of my screen presence in this film, I will be seen as an old man. The makeup takes three hours and so I got to the studio at 10 am. But by the time we complete, it was 1.30 am. However, after a few trials, we minimised the time.
