Priyanka has especially picked Goli Soda from varieties of films offered to her, as it has a plenty of acting scopes. She also opened that the makers of various other films offered her with some personal deal, besides acting. She says that Goli Soda makers didn’t demand an indecent deal, but provided her with a good role to showcase her talent. She slams the Kannada makers that they had thought that she could accept their deal, as she is from Mumbai. Priyanka made her debut in Sandalwood with the award-winning film, “RangiTaranga.” "There are a few people whom I cannot name. They think that actresses from Mumbai are ready to anything to bag a role in their films. This is not about exposing on screen, but they wanted me to have a relationship with them. I got some offers as a lead actor in which I was asked to compromise with the movie producer and director," said Priyanka to a leading daily. She also says that she rejected the offers due to some poor minded filmmakers. "My parents were really shocked about this. But I convinced them that not every filmmaker would be like that. I rejected three offers because of that and waited for a good team to work with because I am not ready to spoil my self-respect. I have my principles to follow, which I learnt from my parents. Women face this problem in many workplaces," added Priyanka.
